Mr. . WIn. Griffis addressed the Council and stated that the. Florida Flood Oon- " >
trol Association ha~ been organized for.thß purpose of gathering data with refer-
ence to floo~ control legislation effecting Lake Okeechobee now pending in OQn-.
gress, and he requested Council to appropriate 1250. QO to help defray the expense
of this work.
Oouncil man Raifsnider moved that Council appropriate 8250.00, payaþle to
Florida 1100d Control Association, for t he purpose of helping defray the expense
