The proposed street lighting contract was referred to the Water & Light
Committee.

General Fun~ motion seconded by Councilman Berka and carried.
Upon motion by Coill1cilman Berka, seconded by Councilman Walker, Council
authorized C1e rk to purchase 100 dog tags for the year 1929.

Mayor Bird stated that meeting had been called for the purpose of ~erfecting
final arrangements in col1.1ection with visit of President-elect Hoover to Okeechobee
on Eebruary 15,th.

off streets G_:d é:LS ist tlle Mayor and Chief of Police in making necessary arrange-
ments to keep Parrott Avenue and North Park stree open for the passage of President. ~
