nomination was seconded by Councilman Walker, and upon vote being taken Councilman ,
Johnston was elected President of City Council.

Council, nomination was seconded by Councilman Qhandler and upon vote being taken
Councilman Walker was elected President pro-tern of City Council. .

Mrs. Ruth B. Owens appeared before Council relative to renewing fire insurance
on City Hall.
Councilman Walker moved that Council author~ze renewal of fire insurance on
City Hall by the three fire insurance agencies in Okeechobee, said insurance to be
written in equal a~ounts by each agency, motion seœDnded b~ Councilman Berka and
carried.
Councilman Walker moved that Council purchase gasoline and oil used by Oi ty
trucks and water departiuent from Pan Amerioan Petroleum Corporation, motion ............
