Upon project completion the Department requests, when available, the City to provide fnal as-built record drawings signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer registered in the State of Florida and Exhibit D Notice of Completion. Also, it is the City's responsibility to provide construction engineering inspection to verify the project is constructed according to the approved plans and specifications. It is also the City's responsibility to coordinate with the Olceechobee Operations Center Office during construction and prior to opening the road to traffic. Finally, once known, please notify my office and Randall James at the Okeechobee Operations Center of the time and date of tl�e pre-construction meeting and the anticipated construction start date and schedule. I will be reviewing the revision with Marcos this afternoon. We anticipate all the available grant funding to be applied to construction. I have attached a copy of the executed agreement and the insurance information from CW Roberts for your review. Once we have a final NTP from FDOT we will insert the final agreement date on page 34 of the contract and issue our NTP to the contractor. The project is funded for $123,531.00 and the lowest bid came in at $139,848.50. Can you confirm if the City will request reimbursement for CEI services or will all available funds go to construction? If the City does elect to request reimbursement for CEI services, the Department will need to review the draft CEI contract with Culpepper and Terpening. If all funds are going to the construction phase, we will just need a copy of the executed CEI contract for our files. EXTERNAL SENDER: Use caution with links and attachments Rebecca, Thought I should drop you a note to keep you in the loop. When we originally advertised for our projects, there was a mix-up at City Hall and only the 3rd Ave project got advertised. It was advertised for 21 locally and over in the Coast per our discussions. There were four bids submitted, CW Roberts has a plant here in Okeechobee and was the low bid. The other three bids were from Ft. Pierce, Delray Beach, and Coconut Creek so we got a fairly wide area. It is still our intent to award the two projects at the same time. The 6t" Street project is currently advertised, the pre-bid meeting is on Thursday. I would guess that CW Roberts will probably be the low bid for that project as well. As soon as we have the bid tab for the 6th Street project I will get it to you so we can award the projects.
