McJeff appeared before Council in reggrd to paving o~ South Park street and Miami Street and the matter was discussed, but on account of financial condi tions it was found impossible to work out any mutually agreeable plan. . Oouncilman Chandler moved that Clerk be authorized to make the following transfers of City funds: $930.00 from I&S 1926 Bond Fund 127 to Special General . Fund #28; $2g5.00 from I&S 1924 Bond Fund #17 to Special General Fund #28; $1,225.00 from Special General Fund #28 to General Fund, motion seconded by .- Councilman Walker and carried. . upon motion Council adjourned. Mixon appeared before Council and requested Council to exempt City r- taxes for the year 1927 on Lots 1 and 2, Block 40, First Addition to South Okeecho- bee, as said lots are now owned by Church of God. -- Councilman Hancock moved that Council authorize City Tax Collector to exempt City taxes for the year 1927 on Lots I and 2, Block 40, First Addition to South Okeechobee, motion seconded by Councilman Chandler and carried. Mayor Bird recommended that street light at intersection of Miami and Second Ii Streets, Sou",h Okeechobee be moved to intersection of Third Street and Parrott Avenue, South Okeechobee, and that white way light in front of p.aicture show be repaired. I Councilman Walker moved that Council authorize Florida Power & Light Company ~ to move street light now located.at intersection of Miami and Second streets, South Okeechobee to intersection of Third Street and Parrott Avenue, South Okeechobee, motion seconded by Oouncilman Johnston and carried. Councilman Johnston moved that City ~ay J. B. Atkinson $6.50 amount received in addition to pound fees from sale of horse by Chief of Police Which was owned by J. B. Atkinson, motion seconded by.
