The City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, met in regular session
in the City Hall at 8 o'clock P. M. and the following were present: J. Denham Bird,
Mayor, Isaiah Uasey, President of City Council, Councilmen H. H. Hancock, Ben Walke,
Don P. John~ton, and H. L. Chandler with R. P. ,Fletcher, City Clerk, Lon Stewart,
Chief of Police, L.. O. Tootle,. Water Superintendent and L. W. Jennings, Oi ty Attor-

Minutes of meeting held June 19th, 1928 were read and approved.
Mr. J. G. McNeff appeared before Council in regard to paving and curbing South
side of South Park Street from Kissimmee Street to Miami Street and Miami Street fr m I

on matter was.deferred to next regular meeting. ¡

Mr. J. G. McJeff appeared before Council in reggrd to paving o~ South Park
street and Miami Street and the matter was discussed, but on account of financial
conditions it was found impossible to work out any mutuaJ.ly agreeable plan. .
Vouncilman Chandler moved that Council authorize Clerk to transfer $185.00
from Special General Fund to General Fund, motion seconded by Oounctlman Walker
and carried.
Upon motion Council adjourned. ~
