Minutes of meetings held May 17th and May 30th 1927 were read and aDproved.
A dele~tion of Citizens from South-west Okeechobee anpeared before the Coun-
cil and requested Council to have water main exterlded from. water tank to Woodland
Park subdivisions.
Councilman Hancock moved that City Engineer make a survey of route for, pro-
nosed water main and consult with water sunerintendent in regard to same and

renor,t to Ctmncil as to cost of laying said main, motion seconded by Councilman
r Casey and ""ssed. ..
r Mr. D~R. Mc.Neill anDeared before Council and requested, Council to extend
the time fJr nayment of City taxes for the year 1926 until August lst.,1927.

Councilman Casey moved that time for payment of City taxes for the year
1926 be extended until Augusg 1st 1927, motion was seconded by Councilman Walker
and passed.
Mr. f.E. Holmes nresented a netition from the Citizens of South Okeechobee
requestimg extension of street lights on Parrott Avenue to South City limits, the
f' matter wa s ~eferred to the Light Committee.
'-./ Upon motion by Cotmcilman Walker, seconded by Councilman Chandler, the
Council authorized anayment of $500.00 to C.A. Steed and Sons balance due on
Taylor Creek bridge.
