Jennings, City Attorney in attend- ance. President DeYexman asked the City Clerk if any bids had been received for City of Okeechobee 1iunicipal Time ïvarrante, Issue of 1925. Ci ty Clerk stated that none had been received. President DeYprman announced that the Time Warrants were for sale at auction and requested oral bids. No bids were received. -., Motion was mace by Council~~n Bird, seconded by Councilman Bass that City .. Attorney L. W. Jennings be authorized to find a purchaser if possible for purchase of Time Warrants a"- private sale within ten (10) days. ------ Mr. W. E. Griffis requested the Council to provide drainage for the section west of Parrott Avenue between Fifth Avepue and Seventh Street. Upon motion by Coill1cilman Bass, seconded by Councilman Scharf schwerdt, the City Engineer was autho:rized to put in neceesary culverts to drain \Va ter U~»]UE beäeen Fift~ Avenue and Seventh Street across Parrott Avenue. E. Hamrick permission to connect with the City water main on Tenth ~ Avenue at East City limite. Motion passed. I Mr. W. T. Watford requested the Council to put in culvert on Florida Avenue . between F. E. Bradford addressed the Council in regard to the payment of building inspection fee on Southland Hotel. -- 1Iotion was made by Councilman Scharfschwerdt, seconded by Councilman Bass, that ðouncil accept $50.00 as building inspection fee for the Southland Hotel. Motion - passed. Upon ~otion by Councilman Scharfsohwerdt, seconded by Council~an Bird, the City Engineer was instructed to make application to War Department for permit to j lay intake line in Lake Okeechobee. Upon ¡¡lotion by CouncilrrAn Hancock, seconded by Councilman Bird, the City Attorn,y was instructed to prepare ordinance providing for the punishment of persons driving automobile while drunk and driving automobile in a reckless manner. 1:otion was wAde by Councilman Scharfschwerdt, seconded by Councilman Bird, that !lleat inspection fee be paid to County Veterinarian to help pay his salary. Motion passed. Upon motion by Councilman Bird, seconded by Councilrran Scharfsohwerdt, the Council authorized the purchase of one car of rock.
