The Water and Light Committee was instructed to secure options on claims to
State land owned by Albert Spear and lesse Harden and pay $50.00 each for said
options.

The City Council met in regular session at 7.30 o'clook P. M. on the above dååe
and the following were present: H. H. DeYar88n, President~ Councilmen H. T. Bass,
J. D. Bird, L. F. Scharf schwerdt and H. H. Hanoock with R. P. Fletoher, Clerk,
and L. W. Jennings~ City Attorney in attendance.
Minutes of meeting held March 3rd and 11th were read and approved.
Councilman Hancook was authorized to make survey of City Cemetery and have
Cemetery grubbed.
Motion was made by Councilman tiass, seconded by Councilman Bird that Oounoil

purchase of Southern Utilities Company a fire sirene. Motion passed.
Estimates of F. E. ~awrenoe, City Engineer~ for material and supplies used
on Water and Sewer contracts were approved and vouchers ordered issued for same.

Pursuant to call of President of Council H. H. DeYarman, acting Mayor in ab-
sence of Mayor Conely from City~ the City Council met in special session at 2
o'clock P. M. on the above date and the following were present: H. H. DeYarman,
President, Councilmen L. F. Soharfschwerdt, J. D. Bird and H. T. Bass with R. P.
Fletcher~ Clerk and L. W. Jennings, City Attorney in attendance.
President DeYarman stated that he had called the Council in special session
for the purpose of considering the matter of purchasing from the Trustees of the
Internal Improvement Fund cert&tn State land on Lake Okeeohobee as a site for the
City pump and filtration plant.
Motion was made by Councilman Soharfsohwerdt~ seconded by Councilman Bird and
relative to purchase of State land
carried that the Clerk be instructed to send the following telegr!!ýto Mayor Oon-
ely ü Tallahassee:
"Aooept proposition five thousand if necessary to oinoh . If possible
to secure thirty day option do so."
Upon motion Council adjourned.

a special meeting of the City Oounoil of the City of Okeeohobee, Florida, to be held
at the Oouncil Chamber within the City of Okeeohobee, on the 3rd day of April, A. D.
1925, at the hour of 7.30 P. M. for the purpose of considering an ordinance desig-
nating depo8itories for proceeds of Waterworks Extension Bonds, issue of 1925 and
for such other business as shall come before it.
