¥-- The City Council met in regular session at 7.30 o'clock P. M. on the above. f
. date and the following were present: councilman J. Denham Bird, ,L. I. Soharfsob-
werdt andH. T. Bass with R. P. Fletoher, Clerk. L. W. Jennings,and B. L. Jennings,
Jr., City Attorneys and Clint Bass, Chief of Police in attendance.
President DeYarman being absent, President Pro-tem Bird p~es.i~ed at the meetin~.
Minutes of meeting held February 3rd were read and approved. . /.

.' Mr. L. L. Wingate appeared before the Council in regard to his cattle being
, -,
lmpounded'th the City Pound.
Mr. F. E. Lawrence, City Engineer addressed- the Council relative to the City
water supply.
Motion was made by Councilman Bass, secondeè by Councilman Soharfsohwerdt and
duly carried that E. G. Sellers be required. to devote his entire time to running
the City pump until further instructions from the Council.
Upon motion by Councilman Sobarfsohwerdt, seconded by Councilman Bass and duly
carried the Oounoil a~thorized payment of bill for locating corners and property
lines for Okeechobee Company provided said Company grade certain streets. ~

the. returns of the Special Bond Eleotion held February 24th, 1925.
Motion was made by Councilman Soharfsohwerdt, seconded by Councilman Bass thit
the returns of election inspectors of Special Bond election for City of Okeeohobe"
held February 24th, 1925 be reoived, inspected and canvassed. Motion carried unan-
imously.
The Council proceede to canvass the rettrns of the Special City Bond Election ~
held in said City on February 24th, 1925, and from the officials returns made by -\
the Inspectors and Clerk of said election, the Council found the votes were cast ~
as follows:
For the issuanoe of IllO,OOO.OO in bonds for the purpose of extending
and expanding the water system of the City of Okeeohobee, Florida----- 29
Against the issuanoe of $110,000.00 in bonds for the purpose of-extend-
ing and expanding the water system of the Oi ty of Okeeohobee, Florida--l

held at the Oounoil Ohamber~ within the City of Okeeohobee, on the 26th day of Feb-
ruary, A. D. 1925, at the hour of 7.30 P. M. for the purpose of considering a res-
olution adopting the form of Bond for the bond issue of the City of Okeeohobee, au-
, . thorized by Ordinance number g5, and voted on by the electors of èaid City Febru-
ary 24th, 1925, and for the further consideration of an ordinance providing for
interest and sinking fund and tax levy in connection with said bonds.
