on Hicpochee S~. Block 194, property in Block 189 and property known as Leroy Brown
place, East on ~arrott Ave. in Block 220. The matter was discussed and upon motion by
Councilman Rh~s the Council agreed to make the above water line extensions to the
... above describe~ property, seconded by Councilman Harden and carried.
I Coun$1man Gardner brought before the Council the complaint of an offensive
odor believed ~ be coming from the sewer on 1st St. in South 0keechobee. ~ue to said
street being ~er constx-uction the Council agreed .to contact the Project Engineer and
see if s~neth ~.~ could be worked out to relieve situation.
Herb~ Nix, President of the Chamber of Commerce, spoke briefly on the
meeting of 0ks, Citizens and Rader and Associates, Engineers of Miami.

Motion made ! y Gardner and seconded by Walker,~ that Rolland A. Sharp and
associates, Inc., ConSulting Engineers, be authorized in accordance with their
contract, to proceed ~th complete detailed working drawings~ Plans and :specifica-
tions and estimates o~ quantities and costs for the proposed sewage extensions,
treatment plant and i~rovements to ~he water plant and to submit the same 'go the
Florida State Board o~ Health for their final approval.
Motion made,by Walker and seconded by Gardner that Robert L. Wagner,
Fiso~l. t~ent, be autl~orized in acco~dano® '~l. th his contract, to proceed with re-
solutions~ egc,~ £or ~alidation of bonds for water and sewer improvements,
