The Council feXt that he had had ample time to do so therefore requested the Clerk to notify Robbins that if the permit was not purchased within ten days the Council would take action. legal A. W, Davis appeared before the Council requesting that North and South Curve Streets in BloSk 218 be closed. After discussion the Council requested that Davis submit his de~ to the property at the next regular meeting of the Council at which time -? action on the ~equest would be takene /& request stating th®~eed of an additional $100 f~or the Recreation Program Committee was discussed, cOUncilman Gardner moved to grant the request, seconded by Councilman Chandler and ~ried. A letter from Thomas M. Cook and Company offering for sale $1'5,000 I & S Ref- unding Bonds a~ approximately 84 flat was read. Councilman Chandler moved to accept offer purchasi~ $15,000 I & S Refunding Bonds for $13,000, seconded by Councilman Rhymes and carried. The ~ollowing building applications were submitted and upon motion by Co~_~cil~ Chandler, ~ec~deA by Councilman Rhymes and carried permits were ordered issued to : John Wendt $5~, J. W. Mobley $1,000, H. L. Watford $1,800, Mrs. Thelma Hanes $8,000 and Ray Lien ~6,000.
