M. with the following present: Mayor Du~faam, P~sident Watford, Councilmen Chandler, ~ardn~r, Pearce and Walker with G. C. Durrance, City Atto~ney. President Wstfor. d presented plans and b].~e prints dra'~ by Florida Power and Light.Engineer, ?eg~',pding proposed street lights. Con.uti!man Cb. andler moved that plans he approved and Flor. Ida Power and Light Company be authorized to install lights according to plans, seconded by Councilman Pearce and carried. A discussion on Sewer program was heard. J R Durrance, Bond Agent, was introduced to the Co-umci.] by' President Watford. Mr. Darrance presented a proposal for issuing and financing Revenue Certificates for construction of sewerage improve- ments, as proposed by Re]land A. Sharp, Consulting Engineer. Proposed issue $350,000.00 Interest =2~/o - Mattu',ity 30 years. Mr. Durrance agreed to meet with the CouDcil July 1 for further discuss!on. O. L. Hunt, Supt, of Public Instruction appeared before the Council requesting tho Council io incl~de i:~ the original sower plans, sower to the new Elementar~y School now ~ader con,strict!on. After discussion.
