at the City Hall. on the above date at 7:30 P. N. with the following present: Mayor ~. ~.

Spivey, City Clerk.

~ief ~omas reported a contractor building without permits. Co~cil advised
pe~its must bm obtained inm~ediately.
Generator repairs forthe polic~ car was brought to the attentio'n of the
Co~cil and r~airs were authorized.
J. E. Cone, appeared in behalf of the 0keechohee Lions Club, stating the
club desired t~ sponsor an animal circus on October 15 ~e proceeds will go a ~ight
Conservation P~ogram. Cone requested use of
, t~e softball park for location of cirmus
and that show ~e pe~itted license fr~e. The Council were in favor of exempting the
license fee, b~ due to existing law ~overning park usage were ~able to permit use of
park area. C~cilman Roe made a motion to this effect, s~conded by Councilman
Coker ~nd carried.
Wate~ Supt. Ktnsaul reported the destruction of water lines and mains due to
th~ street construction and requested held in k~eping water lines visible to avoid this.'
Matter of empl~ent was referred te Kinsaul and Mobley.
~e ~alif~ing fee for city elected officers was discussed. Cot~cil~sn Roe
moved that the qualifying fee for each officer which include~ Mayor, Cot~cilmen and
City Clerk set,at $9~.00, seconded by Co~cilm~ Cokor ~d carried.
Atto~ey Durrance reported his investigation on the law geverning nui~ance.
A re~o~endation from National Board of Fire Underwriters w~s r~ad ~d order-
ed filed.
A letter frog First Federal Savings & Loan Association in reference a placin~
of street sign~ was read. No action taken.
Upon?otion the Co~cil adjourned.
