1. That the President of the City Council, the chairman of the
Finance Committee of said Council and the City Clerk be, and they are
hereby authorized and instructed to execute all necessary notes and
papers for the purpose of obtaining a loan in the principa~ amount
of $4,800.00, from 0keechobee County Bank and torepay said lman in
monthly payments of $200.00 with interest~ from date of said loan,
at the rate of 8% per annum.
2. That for the purpose of securing said loan the City hereby
pledges the sum of $200.00 monthly from first funds of the "Cigarette
Tax Fund" for payment of said loan.
3. That a certified copy of this resolution be delivered to the
0keechobee County Bank.

Complaints from several resident of Southwest 0keechobee rega~3ding a situation
cocking in said vicinity which is causing a health nenance was discussed. ~e Co~cil
agreed that one member of th~ Co~cil would contact the Cowry Sanitarian ~d investigate
situation.
Franck Altob~llo appeared before the Council and stated that one of the City's
mowers had caused one of his glass window in his place of business to be broken and
qu6sted that the City be liable for cost in replacing said glass. Co~cilman Coker
moved to approve repairs and cost not to exceed ~%4F.25, seconded by Co~ncilm~ ~%omas
and ca~',ri ed.
