Donald Mack, employee of City Sewer Dept., discussed with the Council the
sewer situation and progress in h~e work.
Councilman Mc Dougald moved that the Clerk w~ite a letter to J. T. Ennia,
State Road Dept. Project Engineer, stating the approval of the Council for the land
to be filled in East of City Hall. Seconded by Councilman Watfor~ and carried.
Zollie Aldri~ge discussed with the Council re-roofing of the City Hall but ~z
due to financial matter~ no action was taken at this time.
Mawr Raule~son brought before the Council a ~equest from the State Road
Dept. for the City to move off the State Road Right-of-way a hyd~andt on State Road
:~o. ?0, near Sw~ndal Service Station. After discussion Ce~ncil a4~x'eed to postpone
matter u_ntil full Council is present.
President Chandler stated that he had contacted Mr. Walker~ State Road Dept.
foreman, ~egardi~g patch material for city streets. Councilman Mc Dougald moved te
contact State Road Dept. in Fort Pierce concerning the material. Seconded by Councilman
Watford and carried.
Dog vaccination was discussed. This matter was put in charge of the Mayor.
Councilman Mc Dousald moved that the City issue a Dance Hall License for
year in the amount ef $50.00 to C. H. Parkerson. Seconded by Councilman Watford and
carried.
A matter ef eXpense/~ trip to Miami by the Chief of Police for repair en

Council repair of certain streets with the city limits. After discussion Councilman
Mc Dougald moved that the President appoint a committee to meet ~ith Mr. J. T. Clamp,
representive ef Belcher 0il Company, to discuss the project and present details at the
next meeting ef City Council. Seconded by Councilman Martin and carried. President
Chandler appointed the following on the Co~-,ittee: Councilmen Ma~tin, Mc Dougald and
Nix.
One Way Streets in and around school houses were discussed. The matter vas
referred to the City Attorney for investigation.
The matter of closing second street in South 0keechobee was discussed but no
action taken.
