matter was put in the ~nds of Ma~vin Mobley.
Fred ~omei Pequested that the street in front of his home be graded as
the street was being used much more ~d ~e ca~a were ~aging his property. Matter

C. H. Belk appea~ed before the Co~cil in regard to the closing ho~ of
his liquo~ ~to~e. ~te~ discussion and due to .Zhe fact that ~ O~din~ee had never

Hazel Robinson, colored, appeared before the Council in regard to the
possibility ~f having water piped to her property~ in Cypress Quarters. After
discussion this was put in the hands of the Water Co~_ittee.

Governor's Day ~d requited the Co~cils, assistance In urging, the people in t he

Also he stated ~hat a decorator wo~d be here to decorate the city, fo~ Gove~o~'a Day and
that the City Hall ~d a section of ~e City (Parrott Ave. at sisal Light) would be
decorated fo~ $78.00. ~. Me Clellan stated that he hoped the Co~cil could see fit to
have this done~ due to ~e, fact that ~e other businesses were havi~ this done.
