I have finished the preliminary Site Plan review for the above project and have found that some
requirements and additional regulations to the City of Okeechobee Code (LDR) and the
Engine~ring Office are missing.
The following items must be added or clarified prior to final Site Plan Review and approval:
· Recent Property Topography Survey of the site.

· Proposed building must have all the Development Information Required - Calculations
for required parking spaces. buffer plans and details, car wheel stops/curbing, dumpster
location, fire hydrant location, provide acreage tabulation to include total project area.

I have completed the Preliminary Site Plan review for the above listed project and have
the following items to be addressed:
· A permit from DOT is required in regards to the grandfather drainage into State
Road 70 for almost 65% of the site's impervious surface.
· I do not agree with the paving of the city's alley (due to drainage purposes).
· The main parking area in the back of the building does not provide any sidewalks
for pedestrians to access the building.
· The Developer should produce clearance from DEP concerning the monitoring
wells (if required).
· Paved areas along NE Slh A venue should be restored to green areas (between the
sidewalk and the edge of the road).
· The 16 ft. entrance off of State Road 70 appears to be a tight turn for heavy trucks
and possibly fire trucks.
· There are only seven trees shown in the landscaping.
· The proposed loading and unloading area is not shown on the drawings for the
food service business.
· The location of the dumpster should be approved by Waste Management and must
comply with the City's setback requirements.
