Member Ledferd made a motion to table Petition 02-002- V, request for additional signage off of S. Parrott Avenue, located at 110 S.W. 14th Street. Member Keller seconded the motion. VOTE HOOVER - YEA JONES - YEA KELLER - YEA LEDFERD - YEA McCoy - YEA WALKER - YEA MOTION CARRIED. Jock Robertson, City Planning Consultant of LaRue Planning and Management Services, addressed the Board and explained that this petition should be considered void. Mr. Robertson explained that the staff report was an invalid application and should never have been accepted nor should the applicant be led to believe this application was able to be heard. Board Member Hoover moved to dismiss Petition 02-003- Vas advised by the city attorney. Board Member Keller seconded the motion. VOTE HOOVER - YEA JONES - YEA KELLER - YEA LEDFERD - YEA McCoy - YEA WALKER - YEA MOTION CARRIED. There were several members of the public that did not understand the dismissal of the petition. The property is located at 14th Street. The purpose for the request for the variance is to allow for the additional signage off of S. Parrott Avenue Heavy Commercial (CHV) zoning district.
