John Dulmer, Planning Consultant with LaRue Planning and Management, requested that the
Board table the Petition to July 9, 2001 at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Dulmer explained that the City Attorney
requested the Petition to be tabled.
Mr. John Cassels addressed the Board. Mr. Cassels stated that he was representing both
Okeechobee County and himself on this issue. He also requested this petition to be tabled, to allow
the Okeechobee County Board of County Commissioners to give direction on how they wish to
proceed with this matter. He further noted that the County needed more time to prepare data as to
how this rezoning will affect the new proposed courthouse and associated facilities.
Consider Petition 01-003-R: Dr. Candidio Aragon, Lori Geddes and Mark
Troendle, property owners; Mark Troendle, applicant. Request for a change in
zoning from the existing classification of Commercial Professional Office (CPO)
to Light Commercial (CL T). The property is located within the 200 Block of
N.W. 5th Avenue, and more legally described as Lots 1 through 12, Block 136,
City of Okeechobee.
