adoption' aha ~on being seconded by Councilman Brette, was put to m vote and adopted:
WHEREAS, Jauie Platt has made application to this
CoUncil to authorize the Tax Collector of the 0ity of OEee-
cb~bee to cancel all city taxes heretofore levied against the
pr~erty hereinafter described for the years 1926 to
in-elusive for the reason that said lands were excluded f~om
the municipality b~ Chapter 10960, Laws of Florida, Acts of
19~5, and WHEREAS said taxes which have been assessed for the
yews. 1926 to 19~0 inclusive, constit.ute a cloud upon said
pr~erty and this Council having given due consideration to
sM ~pplicat ion,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Tax
Co~ector of the City, of Okeechobee be and he is hereby auth-
or,ed and instructed to cancel all unpaid taxes and tax cert-
if~ates issued for the yeats 1926 to 19~O inclusive, or any of
s~ years, end make le~Oper~ notation on the tax rolls of said

A r~port from Chief of Police Thomas stating that~ the requeste~ mentioned in
June 2nd min~es had been taken care of.
The.i~atter of ~arbage and ~noculation of the dogs were discussed but no
finite aotioa was taken.
Application for the city purchases of gas and oil was received from Warlord's
Service Station. Application from Paul Robbins which hsJ2 been filed prior to this
date was al~ considered. After due consideration the Council agreed to accept the
offer from Paul Robbins and the city purchases of-gas and oil for two months were given
to him. A D,scount of ~~a'~ and 20~ on tires to be given.
Upo~ motion by Councilman Brette, seconded by 0ouncilman Chandler, and carried,
the Council ~nt into executive session.
The Council then came into open session and upon
mot ion ~J .ourned.
