Pa Board of Adiustment - 25.2000 Ju DISCUSSION - VOTE ACTION Planning Consultant Bob Koncar went over the criteria for the Sylvia Nelson Special Exception and stated the property located at 112 Southeast 5th Avenue was re-zoned from Commercial to Residential in February 15, 2000 and the purpose for the zoning was to allow a church on designation property under five acres, and based on the findings the request should be approved. Attorney Conely address the board on behalf of the owner, and read a letter from Willard Mays, who is an adjoining property owner giving consent to use his property for church parking. He also stated there were fourteen (14) parking spaces on the property. After discussion Member Muller moved to table Petition No 00-003 SE until the next Board of Adjustment meeting (August 22, 2000); seconded by Member Mavroides. Based on Staff recommended the application be approved with conditions. he wanted that the Board explaining m Hildebrand, Lessee of the property addressed a used car lot on this property. Mr. J to put Citizen and adjoining property owner, Mr. Haynes Williams, addressed the board stating objections ro granting the Special Exception due to aesthetics and the proximity this proposed project has to the newly renovated down town area. Mr. Williams specifically pointed out that car lots usually have portable type trailers for their offices and he strongly objected to that type of building being located next to the small plaza he owns the city should encourage more business growth Keith Walpole. a citizen commented Mr. AGENDA NEW BUSINESS Consider Petition 00-003-SE. Applicant, Tom W. Conely; Owner Sylvia Nelson. The property is located at 112 Southeast 5th Avenue and is legally described as Lots 7 & 8, Block 253 and a portion of the now abandoned Florida East Coast Rail Road Right of Way adjacent to lots 7 & 8.
