hearing on August 13 , 20 19 . After due notice to the respondent, the Board having heard
evidence on the alleged violation by witnesses or affidavit makes the following findings:

B. CONCLUSIONS OF LAW:
The owner of the property described above has been found in violation
of: Mow & Trim Property & Remove all Debris
C. ORDER: The City of Okeechobee Code Enforcement Special Magistrate has
determined you have violated the Code of Ordinances Ch 30 Sec 30-43 & 30-44
concerning your property located at 801 SE 6th Court , Okeechobee, FL .
If you do not correct the violation Immediately after proper notification , or notify the
Code Enforcement Officer of the correction, the Magistrate imposes a fine of $ 50.00 per
day, Also a onetime fee of 25.00 for administrative fees, commencing that date and continuing
daily until the violation is corrected or the city is notified by you and verifies the correction,
which ever first occurs. Further, if you do not correct the violation by said date, a copy of this
order as a claim of lien, shall be recorded in the office of the Clerk of Circuit Court, Okeechobee
County, Florida, and once recorded, becomes a lien
on real and personal property pursuant to Florida Statute 162. You have a right within thirty
days, to appeal this finding and order by Writ of Certiorari to the Circuit Court, Okeechobee
County, Florida. If you correct the violation prior to the above date, it is your obligation to
contact the Code Enforcement Officer to verify such compliance.

STATEMENT OF VIOLATION ANIS NOTICE OF HEARING
Pursuant to Florida Statutes 162.02 and 162.12, Florida Statutes, and the Code of Ordinances of City of
Okeechobee, I (hereinafter the "City of Okeechobee), the undersigned Code Enforcement Officer hereby gives
notice of an uncorrected violation of the City of Okeechobee Code, as more particularly described herein, and
hereby requests a Hearing before the Okeechobee City Code Enforcement Special Magistrate.

Inspector to verify compliance, with the Okeechobee City Code Section(s) cited herein, you are hereby called upon to take
notice that a Hearing will be held in this cause before the City of Okeechobee Code Enforcement Magistrate on the 13th
day August 2019 at 6:30 P.M., located at 55 SE 3rd Ave Okeechobee City Hall, Okeechobee Florida 34974 in Council
Chambers. The Magistrate will receive testimony and evidence at said Hearing and shall make findings of fact and
conclusions of law as are supported by the evidence and testimony, and shall make an order thereupon. You are entitled to be
represented by counsel, present evidence, and present testimony. Please be advised that any evidence presented to the
Magistrate for his consideration will be retained by Code Compliance Department. If you fail to appear at the hearing the
Magistrate may enter an Order of Violation, & impose a fine in your absence.

1. My name is Fred Sterling certified code inspector for the City of Okeechobee and I've been
duly sworn in prior to presenting evidence.
2. Respondents(s) Wendi Snow is/are () present ork�not
present. The property is occupied by (x) owner(s), () tenant or ( ) vacant.
3. This case concerns property located in the municipal boundaries of the City of Okeechobee
at 801 SE 6" Court . According to Official Records of the Okeechobee County
Property Appraiser the owner(s) of record is/are Wendi Ann Snow. City exhibit no.
4. On February 26, 2019 , I personally inspected the property and observed the following:

As you are aware at the August 2019 Special Magistrate Meeting, you were found in violation of Ch
30 Sec 30-43 Public Nuisancejand Ch 30 Sec 30-44 General Cleaning & Beautification. The Special
Magistrate imposed a fine of a day. The fines of $25.00 a day started on November 20, 2019
and ran until November 30, 2019 at that time you came into compliance. The balance due on this
property is $525.00 this includes a onetime fee of $25.00 for administrative fees. I would like to get
this issue resolved and file a satisfaction of lien for this property. This has run well over 90 days and
would like to give you a chance to make a payment before I start the foreclosure process. You can
also come before the Special Magistrate and ask for a fine reduction. We meet every second
Tuesday of the month.
You can make a payment at/or mail to the City Police Department at the above address, by a check
or money order made out to the City of Okeechobee. Or you can go to the Okeechobee City Hall
Finance Department.

I am writing you today in regard the case and property listed above. A you are aware the
property was found in violation of Ch 30 Sec 30-43 Public Nuisance and Ch 30 Sec 30-44
General Cleaning and Beautification. At the August 12, 2019 Special Magistrate Meeting you
were imposed a fine of $50.00 Dollars a day immediately after proper notification with an
Administrative fee of $25.00. The fine ran from November 20th till you came into compliance
on November 30th. The total amount due including the Administrative fee is $525.00.1 would
like to get this issue resolved before any further action is taken. Please send a check/money
order to the above address wrote out to the City of Okeechobee and reference Case #
190227015. Once I receive this, I will get a satisfaction of lien recorded at the courthouse and
