Code Officer Sterling requested the withdrawal of Case #06-001 Louis Neal, Sr., Case #06-051 Gloria Rodriquez,
and Case #06-098 Louis, Jr. & Susan Doughty from today's agenda.
Code Officer Sterling testified he had spoken with Mrs. Castaneda who is the property owner's daughter and she
was trying to convince her mother that something needed to be done to the property. The property owner lives out
of state and property is being rented. Member Gamiotea moved to find Case #06-056 in violation of Ch 30 Sec
30-44 imposing a twenty dollar per day fine beginning fifteen days from receipt of notice; seconded by Member
Montesi.

After some discussion among the board members, Member Gamiotea moved to table Case #06-108 until the next
regularly scheduled meeting and requested staff review this to be sure it was a matter for the Code Board; seconded
by Member Montesi.

Code Officer Sterling testified Case #06-144 was in violation on June 12, 2006 but had come into compliance as
of July 5, 2006. Member Montesi moved to find Case #06-144 a repeat violator in violation of Ch 30 Sec 30-44
but now in compliance as of July 5, 2006 imposing a fifty dollar fee for administrative costs; seconded by Member
Nelson.

Code Officer Sterling gave an update on the status of cases currently being fined. Chairperson Worley requested
the Code Officer talk to Attorney Cook in reference to Case #04-025 Joe and Johnny Brown and Case #04-026
Gloria and Mary Brown which have been under fines for an extended period of time and now the fines have accrued
to several thousands of dollars. He also requested Case #05-136 Joe L. Lawson be put on the next agenda.
There being no further items on the agenda Chairperson Worley adjourned the meeting at 7:45 p.m. The next
regular Code Board Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 8, 2006.
