OF ITEMS ON TODAY'S AGENDA. Election of Code Board Chairperson and Vice Chairperson for two year Chairperson Worley opened the floor for nominations of a Chairperson and Vice -Chairperson. Member Gamiotea terms beginning May 12, 2004 and ending May 9, 2006. nominated Member Worley as Chairperson. Member Nelson nominated Member Gamiotea as Vice -Chairperson. There were no other nominations made for Chairperson or Vice -Chairperson. Worley - Yes Gamiotea - Yes Irby - Yes Montesi - Yes Nelson - Yes Sweda - Yes Weisser - Yes Slate Carried Unanimously. 04-037 Zollie & Vineta Aldridge Chp 30 Sec 3043 Public Code Officer Hancock informed the Code Board Case #04-037 was going to be burned by the City Fire Department 215 SW 6 h Avenue nuisances: unsafe buildings for training purposes probably the first of June 2004. Member Gamiotea moved to table Case #04-037 until the Code Board meeting on July 13, 2004; seconded by Member Nelson. Brantley Chp 30 Sec 30-38 Boat docked Code Officer Hancock stated the boat in Case #04-014 had been removed as of April 22, 2004. Member Gamiotea 1811 S. Parrott Avenue in Taylor Creek without moved to find Case #04-014 in compliance as of April 22, 2004 and to stop the fine from accruing; consent of land owner seconded by Member Irby. Status report from Attorney Cook on Case #02-0216 Evelyn Dasher Estate Appreciation for Chief Tomey - Chairperson Worley CODE BOARD ACTION Sweda - Yes Weisser - Yes Motion Carried. Member Irby moved to recommend to City Council if the accrued fine on Case #04-014 is not paid by the close of business on May 27, 2004 that a Civil Judgment be filed for the amount of the accrued fine including court costs; seconded by Member Weisser. Attorney Cook advised the Board Case #02-0216 Evelyn Dasher Estate is considered homestead property and Florida Statutes prohibits foreclosing on alien against homestead property. Member Irby moved to recommend to City Council that a Civil Judgment be filed on Case #02-0216 for the amount of the accrued lien including court costs; seconded by Member Montesi.
