CODE BOARD ACTION
Jonathan Brown came before the Code Board on behalf of Brenda Brown to present property tax
receipts as proof of ownership. Chairperson Worley instructed the Code Board that due to Attorney
Cook's absence it would be necessary to allow time for the attorney to review this information before
proof of ownership could be determined. Member Montesi moved Case #01-0074 & #01-0075 be
tabled until the next regularly scheduled meeting; seconded by Member Nelson.

Code Officer Hancock presented copies of a request from Suzette Quarles for a thirty day extension.
Member Nelson moved Case #03-045 be given a thirty day extension and after that time if the property
is not in compliance a $10.00 per day fine would commence; seconded by Member Montesi.

Code Officer Hancock stated Ms. Parsons had been in the hospital in September, but since then no
contact had been made. Member Montesi moved Case #03-096 be given a thirty day extension and
after that time if the property is not in compliance a $10.00 per day fine would commence; seconded by
Member Nelson.

Code Officer Hancock informed the Code Board that he had been in contact with the owner who
indicated he would like to have the property burned, but he had not taken any further action.
Member Nelson moved Case #03-101 be found not in compliance and fined $10.00 per day upon
receipt of notice; seconded by Member Montesi.

CODE BOARD ACTION
Code Officer Hancock gave testimony that some work had been done, but at this time he did not feel the
property was in compliance. Member Montesi moved Case #01-0084 be found not in compliance as of
October 14, 2003 based on the testimony and photographs presented by Code Officer Hancock therefore
the $10.00 per day fine will begin immediately; seconded by Member Nelson.

Code Officer Tomey stated that he had talked to Attorney Cook this afternoon and he said he would
have the title search done on the Evelyn Dasher property by the end of this week. Also, the attorney
said Mr. Brantley would be bringing a check to his office by Friday, October 17, 2003.
Member Montesi moved to cancel the Code Board Meeting for November 1 lth, 2003 since it falls on
Veterans Day; seconded by Member Nelson.

Member Montesi moved to adjourn; seconded by Member Nelson. Meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
