Code enforcement As you are aware Case 15-013, for a nonconforming structure and commercial vehicles in a residential area,, went before the board on August 11, 2015. At that time the board decided to postpone taking any action and allow six months for you to bring. the property into compliance. However, as of today nothing has been done and the case is scheduled to go back before the Code_ Board. on March 8, 2016. If the violations have not been corrected before this date, the Code Board will have no choice but to impose a fine which will accrue daily until the property is found to be in compliance. Please call our office at (863) 357-1971 to let us know what your intentions are to resolve this matter before the Code Board Meeting on March 8, 2016. This structure was assembled without a permit. If a permit application had been submitted it would have been denied due to its conflict with City Regulations and the Florida Building Code. Mr. Bertram communicated to me that he and Billy Mason were negotiating the sale of an adjacent property to Mr. Bertram. If the sale materialized, then the non-compliance structure would be disassembled and removed from the property. As of this date, the Building Department has not been contacted by Mr. Bertram regarding the status of the pending sale of the property and the removal of the non-compliance structure.
