Hearings of the municipal code violations were held by the Municipal Code Enforcement
Board in the Council Chambers at City Hall on Tuesday, May 13, 1986.
Vice Chairman Thompson called the meeting to order a 7:00 P.M. and asked secretary
Castorina to call the roll with the following results:

Others present were: Code Enforcement Officer, Keith Tomi
Secretary, Beatrice Castorina.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Vice Chairman Thompson asked if everyone have receiv

Vice Chairman Thompson asked Code Enforcement Officer, Torrey to present his cases.
CASES TO BE PRESENTED
1-86 Roosevelt Butler - 803 N.W. 9th Avenue
Junked refrigerators, vehicles, and other mics junked material
Code Enforcement Officer Tomey stated the police went over to r. Butler's and advised him that
the junked refrigerators was in violation of State Statues and he immediately cleaned up the
refrigerators. He stated he was hoping while he was cleaning p the refrigerators he would
clean up all the junk on the property.
Attorney Bryant advised the board that First Federated had foreclosed on this property and
was planning to clean up the property and he recommends to cons

was sent to Mr. Guerrero some time
ago. He has moved one of the vehicles, but the other one is still there.
Member Palmore moved to give Mr. Guerrero until 12:00 noo on the 23rd of May to move the
vehicle and if it is not moved by then a fine of $25.00 a day er day the vehicle is there and a
fine will be levied against him. Seconded by member Walker. Motion carried.
19-86 Louis Neal - 800 N.W. llth Street - Junked vehicle on premises
Code Officer Advised the board that he recommends this case belcontinued because Mr. Neal wants
to keep the car because it runs. Mr. Neal is to call him to go check it out therefore he wants
this case continued until he can check the car out.
• Member Walker moved to continue case 19-86. Seconded by ember Scherrer. Motion carried.
20-86 James Arthur Snell - 800 N.W. loth Street - Junked vehicle on premises
Code Officer Tomey advised the board Mr. Snell has been notifi d and he hasn't called and he
didn't show up for the meeting.

within 10 days a fine of $25.00 per day will be levied against
