MINUTES OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE ENFORCEMENT

Hearings of the municipal code violations were held y the Okeechobee Municipal Code
Enforcement Board in the Council Chambers at City Hall on Tuesday, October 16, 1984.
Chairman Jeffers asked secretary Castorina to call t e roll with the following results:
Nick Collins - Present
Deara Thompson - Present
Robert Ridley - Present
Lloyd Jeffers - Present
Blair Kuhlewind - Present
Jerry Walker - Absent with consent
Tommy Hoover - Present
Others present were: Code Enforcement Officer, Mallette W stbrook¡ Attorney, David Conlon;
and Secretary, Beatrice Castorina.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Chairman Jeffers asked if everyone have received the minutes of September 18, 1984,
meeting. He stated if the board have found the minutes c rrect and had no questions, the
chair would entertain a motion the minutes stand approved as presented. Member Thompson
so moved. Seconded by member Collins. Motin carried.
PRESENTATION OF CASES
Chairman Jeffers asked Code Enforcement Officer, Mal ette Westbrook, to present his
cases.
CONTINUED CASES
Mr. Westbrook requested the following cases be conti ued.
65-84 J.J. Zayti - Temporary use permit.
91-84 Lorenza & Javita Williams - Violation of San . tary Code.
98-84 Glenn Lamb - Violation of Ordinance 140 and 410.
Member Collins moved to continue cases 65-84, 91-84 and 9 -84. Seconded by member Thompson.
Motion carried.
DISMISSAL OF CASES
Mr.1Westbrook request the following cases be dismiss ed because all are in compliance.
51-84 Bill Acre and Rudolph H00ks
97-84 Roosevelt Butler
102-84 Roosevelt Butler
Member Kuhlewind moved to dismiss cases 51-84, 97-84 , and 102-84 for reason of compliar
Seconded by member Collins. Motion carried.
Member Thompson moved to change the meeting time from 7:3 o to 7:00 o'clock P.M. Seconded
by member Ridley. Motion carried.
Mallette Westbrook asked the board to consider presentin a gavel on a plaque to Gordon
Leggett, a pasted chairman and, all the out Member Thompson moved to
present a gavel mounted on a plaque to each chairmans. Seconded by member
Collins. Motion carried.

There being no further business to come before the oard, member Thompson moved to
adjourn. seconded by member Kuhlewind. Motion carried. eeting adjourned at 7:50 P.M.

REGULAR MEETING AY, 'JANUARY 15, 1985
Hearings of the municipal code violations were held by e Okeechobee Municipal

Chairman Jeffers called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M and asked secretary Castorina
to call the roll with the following results:

Others present were: Code Enforcement Officer, Mallette Wes brook; Attorney, David Conlon;

Chairman Jeffers advised the board that Nick Collins hav been elected to City Council
therefore, he has tendered his resignation. Member Jeffers a ked for a motion to accept
Member Collins resignation. Member Kuhlewind so moved. Seco ded by member Walker. Motion
carried.
