Discuss City/County Comp Plan — Attorney Cook began discussion by explaining to the Council and City Attorney. those present that the reason for this special meeting is the City Council needed to be advised and make a decision as to whether to file an Administrative Proceeding against the County because it came to the City's attention this week, after meeting with Attorney Mike Morell, that subsequent to the public hearing the County had to adopt their Comprehensive Plan, and that there were documents inserted or added to the County's Comprehensive Plan in the Data and Analysis portion. These documents were not presented at the public hearing. Also some collateral issues need to be addressed in the County's Comprehensive Plan. I hope it does not end up driving a wedge between the City and the County, but at the same time understand if we feel like we are in danger of losing our service area then we must do something to protect ourselves.
