James Landrisci~% representative of New York Ifmf~ Insurance Company was present~ as
requested by the Co,mci!, +,o discuss in d~tail the pension ~und pl~. Stating it would t~e approxi~t~-
]y $]] ~00.00 of city funds to initiate the plan. ~e Fund would be reimbursed by the State approximate-
]y $2,000.00 for Police De,artment and $1~O00.00 for Fire Department money derived from insurance
p~!i. cies written in city and the e~!oyees would pay ~% of salary. Said monies would be deposited ~
in special account. ~ust~es would ad~nister funds. ~e Board of ~ustees for Police Department
wn~ld be Wav~-~ Police Chf_~f and +.wo Policemen. ~e Board of ~ustees for Fire Department, Councilman,
~re Chi~e and Assistant,. ~e ~ty E~loyees Board of Trustees, Councilman, Head of Departments
and resident voter of city to be on each Board of ~ustees. ~e City Attorney would represent the
three boards and wou!8 be nai8 by the city. ~e ~dinances and T~st A~eement would be sent to the
State for rebate system. ~ter a len~hty dism~ssion Mr. Landriscina requested per~ssion to proceed
~th paper work ~th no obligation to city. ~e Council ~anted request.
Don Osha, En~neer was present, presenting a pre!i~nary mao of street re-na~ng. ~e
Council authorized the co~letion of plan. ~. Osha also recommended that the City ~ve some
thought on the preparation of a pre!i~ report on the present city sewer system for future use.
Also ~. Osha repo,,ed that be had i~ormed ~. J. G. Ke!ly that he could not represent
him as En~neer on ~s req~ested sewer line extension to ~rlda Palms Tr~ler Park, due to ~m
beinM e~loyed by the ~ty. ~e Co,mci].. a~eed that they had no objection to ~. Kelly co~ecting
to city sewer line pro~ding he pays all cost of extension.
President Burk reposed that he had a confidential cable T. V. report from Oke~rCo
and ewcused ali. oresent that were not directly involed.
