1988-09-01 General MeetingSeptember 1, 1988 Pension Trust Meeting Those Present were Charles Elders, L.C. Fortner, Jr., Roger Jones, Bill Douglas, Larry Mobley, Larry Coonfare, Bernice Elders. A meeting of the above trustees was called to order by L.C. Fortner. A discussion was held concerning the investment of the funds that were presently in a C.D. at Naples Federal. After some discussion the trustees present decided to invests all of the available funds with Merrill Lynch of Sebring, Fla. The funds are to be invested in several C.D.'s at an interest rate of 8.85% for 150 days. The Trustees also decided to set meetings in January, 1989 to hear presentations from several firms to determine which firm would be the best for investing the pension funds for longer period of time. There was also discussion on setting how many meetings could be missed and still be on the pension board, after some discussion it was decided to bring this up at the next meeting. There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
