Fire Fighters Pension Board Meeting
October 4, 1990
Trustee's Present: Steve Weeks
Meeting called to order at 7:20 PM
General Employees, Police and Fire had a combined meeting.
Lee Dehner, Legal Counsel for the combined boards was present and
updated boards on his progress in completion of the proposed draft
of changes needed in our plans and City Ordinances governing our
pension plans. Mr Dehner advises that he will have his proposal
ready for the next meeting of the boards, he further suggest that
we have a meeting in the month of November so each board can review
and make any changes needed in the proposed drafts.
Theora Braccialarghe of Kruse, O'Conner and Ling, Inc., the boards
actuary, reviewed the status of each retirement system. She advised
that the retirement systems are financially sound and possible
benefit increases should be considered by e -ch board. She further
explained how the impact statements we nded.
Meeting was adjourned at 9:10 PM.
