The Council agreed for sewer plant employee to operate street sweeper at night providing
it, doe~ not interfer with his d~ties at sewer plant.
Attorney ~rren reported that A. A. Scott was interested in selling his water company in
Better
system.
I~e to numerous complaints of residents in Wilcox Shores and Okeechobee Estates, it was
ao~reed by the Co~ncil to ~'ave a regular poi. iceman when possible at Wilcox Shores entrance to direct
traffic, during the rush hours.

The Council authorized Wa+er Supt,. Fortner to investigate and calculate the value of said system
and report to Council.
Char]es Royal appeared before the Council in regards to sewer line extension to new
shopping center on Rivervi. ew Drive, presenting a cost estimate of $3,h~7.ho for approximately
800 feet of sewer line ~n?tal] ed from existing line to building site. The Council agreed to
a,,;thorize C~ty Engineers +o prepare plans and cost, estimate on the above sewer line extension.
The Co~.'.ncil as?~.red M~. Royal that the City would cooperate and work out things-with him.
Attorney Curren requested to meet. with County Comnd. ssioners regarding a request for a
traffic survey at entrance, of Riverview Drive on State Road 70 and to write Florida Department of
Transportation regarding ;his matter.
Acting Supt. of Streets, L. C. Fortner, Jr. was requested to investigate a request to open
16th Street.
Attorney Curren was requested, to file application with F. H. A. for loan.
Attorney Cu, rren to handle prelimina~,' work on suit filed by P. P. Evans and requested the
Council to obtain additional Count.il.
