Thc City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, met in regular adjourned session at
the City Hall on the above date at 9:30 P. M. with the following present: President Gardner, Councilma~
Breland and Hunt with Clerk Spivey.
Councilman Breland moved to aopoint Clayton White as Building Official of the City of Okee-
chobee with an increase in salary of $1¢.00 pot week and an increase in weekly exponse of $10.00,
seconded by Councilman H~mt and carried.
Co~ncilman Hunt. moved to emoloy J. Edward Curren as City Attorney for one year, seconded by
Councilman Breland and carried.
Upon request of the Okeechobee County Commissioners, Councilman Hunt moved to adjust Civil
Defense (Old County Jail Building) water bill to six months average, seconded by Co~mcilman Breland
and carried.
Upon motion the Council adjourned to meet January 13, 197Oy~j,/

The City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, met in regular adjourned session at
the City Hall on the above date at ~:30 P. M. with the following present: President Gardner, Council-
man Breland, Hunt, Padgett and Walker with Attorney Curren and Clerk Soivey.
Assistant Fire Chief Godwin oresented soecifications on fire truck chassis. After consider-
ation, Councilman Hunt moved to advertize for bids on the following i - 2 too truck chassis, seconded
by Councilman Brelsnd and carried.
NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida,
will receive sealed bids for the purchase of the following:
1 two ton truck, 1.32" chassis & cab, 2 door, heavy duty industrial engine,
horse Dower rating 210 minim~m, not over 250 HP, 900 x 20 10 ply military tread
tires, wheels solid steel, 6 nut wheel bolts, 5 speed transmission, synchronized
6000 lb. front axel, 4 wheel drive, heavy duty battery, not less than 120 amps,
65 amp alternator a~d regulator, heat, oil and amp meter gauges, heavy duty fan
and radiator, hand throttle, 3000 lb. front springs, 11,550 lb. rear and auxiliary
sDringz, left and right hand west coast mirrors, heavy duty seat, front tow hooks,
heavy duty front and rear brakes, brush t ~ype grill, heavy duty clutch, cab of truck red.
Trade in allowance on 1961 International I and ~ ton, four wheel dr~.ve, model B-160 series.
Said bids will be opened in the Councdl Chamber at the City Hall in Okeechobee, Florida,
