1967-07-11 Regular1062 Councilman Walker moved that a reverter clause be included in easement to Okeechobee Beach Water Association to cross the West 10 ft. of that part of Lot D lying North of State Road 78 in Section 28 for purpose of construction and maintenance of a water distribution line, that in the event the Association ceases to buy water from the City that the line would be removed. Seconded by Councilman Nunt and carried. President Gardner voted yea. Upon motion the Council adjourned. Fortner reported the need of approximately 300 feet of 6 inch pipe for temporary rs-location of water main on west State Road #70 during State Road Department replacement of culvert, stating that approximately 300 feet of pipe could be reused. Councilman Walker moved to purchase necessary pipe seconded by Councilman Hunt and carried. Due to complaints of rusty water, Supt. Fortner discussed replacing approximately 2,000 feet of 2 inch pipe north of State Road #70 across property known as "Minehan Pasture" in an effort to eliminate the problem. DUe to the excessive cost of such a replacement and a minimum n~ber of users on said line the Council agreed to try another method to try and relieve problem~in that area. Attorney Hendry discussed with the Council the proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance. The Council advised Attorney Hendry to proceed with the preparation of proposed amendment to permit trailers in Agricultural Zones and specifing the lot size 75x100. Said ~roposed Ordinance to be studied further at next meeting of the Council. Attorney Hendry reported that he had not heard anyth~ more from State Road Department in relation to the traffic survey at intersection of 441 and 70. The Council requested the Attorney to contact the Road Departmen~ again. The dog pickup in county was discussed. No definite action taken. Robert T. Bell, representing the Moose Lodge, was present in regards to securing a bingo pemit .for said Lodge. Attorney Hendry to check with Attorney General regarding new law. 1064 Councilman ~adgett moved to pay Gilbert Culbreth $350.00 for water line in Riverside ~ark Addition (Cypress Quarters) upon receipt of an itemized bill, seconded by Councilman Warlord. The following vote was taken: Yea - Councilmam ~adgett, Councilman Watford and ~residen% Gardner Nay - Councilman Walker - Councilman Hunt not voting.
