Councilman Walker moved to purchase one new fire hydrant and repair hydrant to be removed,
seconded by Ceuncilman Gardner and carried.
Several letters had been received from neighboring towns in regards to a questionaire from
City of Okeechobee, pertaining to operation of Fire Department and Volunteer Firemen. Matter referred
to workshop meeting.
The Council agreed that due to circumstance, ne adjustment be made on "Chris Place" water
bill paid by James Garcia.
Upon motion the Council adjourned.

The City Council of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, met in regular adjourned session at
the City Hall on the above date at S~15 P. M. with the following present: Mayor Dunham, President
Mc Crocklin, Councilmen Gardner, Hunt, Walker and Watford with Clerk Spivey.
Pursuant to notice published in the Okeechobee News regarding a public hearing to re-
zone Lots i amd 2, Block 163, Original Town ef Okeechobee from Industrial to Commercial, President
Mc Crecklin asked if there were any objections. No objection was heard or filed. Therefore Council-
man Gardner moved to rezone the above described property from Industrial to Commercial, presenti~
the following Ordinance and moved its adoption and upon being seconded by Councilman Watford was
put to a vote and unanimously adopted:

ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 271, BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ZONING
REGULATIONS FOR THE CITY OF 0KEECHOBEE, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING FOE THE
ADMINSTRATION, ENFORCEMENT AND AMENDMENT THEREOF PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF
CHAPTER 176, FLORIDA STATUTES, 1953.
WHEREAS, application has been made by J. H. Ward, requesting this Council te rezene
from Industrial to Commercial Lots 1 and 2, Block 163, Original Town ef Okeechobee, and
WHEP~AS, notice ef intention te amend City Zoning Ordinance Ne. 271 regarding said
application was duly published according to law, and
WHEREAS, en the 15th day of March, 1966, a public hearing was held in the City
Council r~om pursuant to said notice, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to the best interest ef the City ef Okeechebee te grant said
application; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Lets 1 and 2, Block 163, Original Tewn ef Okeechobee, be and are
hereby rezened from Industrial to Cemmercial effective March 15, 1965.
SECTION 2. That the application requesting rezening and preef ef publication te
amend Zoning Ordinance Ne. 271 published in connection with the above application te
this Ordinance and become a part hereof.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk make the appropriate change on the City Zoning Map
in accordance with this Ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of March, 1966.

Supplemental Watershed Work Plaa and Supplemental Watershed Work Plan Agreement for Council's
approval. After discussion Councilman Gardner moved te accept and approve the presented Supplemental
Watershed werk plan and Supplemental Watershed Work Plan Agreement subject te appreval by Attorney
Hendry, seconded by Councilman Watford and uanimously carried.
Councilman Gardner moved seconded by Councilman Walker and carried te increase Lester Smith
Street Department employee $5.00 per week, salary increase.
Upon motion the Council adjoured.
