This property is now zoned R -3 Residential. In order to satisfy the requirements of the zoning code, and erect a structure for this purpose, it is necessary to be within a. C- Commercial zone. We specifically request a change in zoning for Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 160, and suggest that you consider the remainder of Block 160 be changed to commercial zone and allow the width of 8th Street to 1 be the buffer break, rather than the alley between Park and 8th. Our intent is to erect a structure of which the City of Okeechobee can be proud, and sincerely hope, by its presence, to stimulate additional desirable growth in the community.
