ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 271, BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ZONING
REGULATIONS FOR THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING FOR THE A1MIIN-
ISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT AND AMENDMENT THEREOF PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF
CHAPTER 176, FLORIDA STATUTES, 1953.
WHEREAS, Application has been made by Spencer Kirton requesting this
Council to rezone from Residential (R -2) to Residential (R -3).
Lots 5 and 6, Block 106 Original Town of Okeechobee, and,
WHEREAS, notice of intention to amend City Zoning Ordinance No. 271, re-

gardi g said application was duly published according to law, and
WHEREAS, on the llth day of May, 1976, a public hearing was held in the
City Council room pursuant to said notice, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to the best interest of the City df Okeechobee, to
gran application; now therefore
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That lots 5 and 6, Block 106, Original Torn of Okeechobee,
Florida, be and is hereby rezoned from Residential (R -2) to Residential (R -3),
effective May 11, 1976.
SECTION 2. That the application requesting rezoning and proof of publication
to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 271 published in connection with the above ap-
plication be attached to this Ordinance and become a part hereof.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk make the appropriate change on the City
Zoning Map in accordance with this Ordinance.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND CITY ZONING ORDINANCE #271
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Okeechobee,
Florida, a municipal corporation, will consider rezoning from Residential
(R -2) to Residential (R -3) and to amend accordingly the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance #271 adopted November 21, 1955, the following described real pro-
perty, situate, lying and being within the corporate limits of the City of
Okeechobee, Florida, to wit:
Lots 5 and 6, Block 106, Original Town of Okeechobee
and that a public hearing in relation thereto will be held at 7:00 p.m. on
the llth day of May, 1976 in the City Council room, City Hall, Okeechobee,
Florida, at which time all parties in interest and citizens shall have an
oppor{tunity to be heard.
