ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 271, BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISH -
INQ ZONING REGULATIONS FOR THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA, AND PRO-
VIDING- FOR THE ADMINISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT AND AMENDMENT THEREOF
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 176, FLORIDA STATUTES, 1953.
WHEREAS, application has been made by Charles E. Farmer and
Myrna D. Farmer requesting this Council to rezone from Agricultural
to Industrial.
Unplated land of City, all that part of North 668.71 feet
of East 2 of Southwest 4 of South East 4, Section 15, Town-
ship 37 South, Range 35 East. 5.06 acres. Original Town of
Okeechobee, and
WHEREAS, notice of intention to amend City Zoning Ordinance No.
27f, regarding said application was duly published according to law,
and
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of June, 1976, a,public hearing was
held in the City Council room pursuant to said notice, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to the best interest of the City of Okee-
chobee, to grant application; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Unplated land of City, all that part of North
668.71 feet of East 2 of Southwest 4 of South East 4, Section 15,
Township 37 South, Range 35 East. 5.06 acres. Original Town of
Okeechobee, Florida, be and is hereby rezoned from Agricultural to
Industrial, effective June 22, 1976.
Section 2. That the application requesting rezoning and proof
of publication to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 271 published in con-
nection with the above application be attached to this Ordinance and
become a part hereof.
Section 3. That the City Clerk make the appropriate change on
the City Zoning Map in accordance with this Ordinance.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND CITY ZONING ORDINANCE #271
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of
Okeechobee, Florida, a municipal corporation, will consider re-
zoning from Agricultural to Industrial and to amend accordingly
the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance #271 adopted November 21, 1955,
the following described real property, situate, lying and being
within the corporate limits of the City of Okeechobee, Florida,
to -wit:
Unplated land of City, all that part of North 668.71
feet of East f of Southwest , of South East 4, Section
15, Township 37, South Range 35 East. 5.06 acres.
Original Town of Okeechobee
and that a public hearing in relation thereto will be held at
7:00 P.M. on the 22nd day of June, 1976, in the City Council
room, City Hall, Okeechobee, Florida, at which time all parties
in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard.
