271-122 NortonORDINANCE NO. 271 - (122) ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 271, BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ZONING REGULATIONS FOR THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADNIN- ISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT AND AMENDMENT THEREOF =PUNT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 176, FLORIDA STATUTES, 1953. WHEREAS, Application has been made by Wallace W. Norton requesting this Counr .1 to ra7a.io frog Residential (R -1) to Commercial. Lot 6 of Block 11L3, Original Town of Okeechobee. WHEREAS, notice of intention to amend City Zoning Ordinance No. 271, regarding said application was duly published according to i.aw, and WHEREAS, on the 19th day of August, 1976, a public hearing was held in the City Council room pursuant to said notice, and WHEREAS, it is deemed to the best interest of the City of Okeechobee, to grant application; now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA: _SECTION 1. That Lot 6 of Block 143, Original Town of Okeechobee, Florida, be and is hereby rezoned from Residential (R -1) to Commercial, effective August 19, 1976. SECTION 2. That the application requesting rezoning and proof of pub- lication to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 271 published in connection with the above application be attached to this Ordinance and become a part hereof. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk make the appropriate change on the City Zoning Map in accordance with this Ordinance. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 19th day of August, 1976.
