IST TION, ENFORCEMENT AND AMENDMENT THEREOF PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF C 176, FLORIDA STATUTES, 1953. WHEREAS, Application has been made by B. P. Abney, Sr. requesting this Council to rezone from Industrial to Commercial. Lot 8, Block 38, Original Town of Okeechobee. WHEREAS, notice of intention to amend City Zoning Ordinance No. 271, re- garding said application was duly published according to law, and WHEREAS, on the 21st day of September, 1976, a public hearing was held in the City Council room pursuant to said notice, and WHEREAS, it is deemed to the best interest of the City of Okeechobee, to gran application; now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Lot 8, Block 38, Original Town of Okeechobee, Florida, be a d is hereby rezoned from Industrial to Commercial, effective September 21, 976. SECTION 2. That the application requesting rezoning and proof of publication to a*►end Zoning Ordinance No. 271 published in connection with the above application be attached to this Ordinance and become a part hereof.
