0RDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 271, BEING AN ORDINANCE
E TABLISHING ZONING REGULATIONS FOR THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE,
FIORIDA, AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT
SID AMENDMENT THEREOF, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER
1 6, FLORIDA STATUTES, 1953.
EREAS, application has been made by Joseph W. Porten. requesting
this Council to rezone from Agricultural to Residential (R -1)

EREAS, notice of intention to amend City Zoning Ordinance No.

was held in the City Council room pursuant to said notice, and
EREAS, it is deemed to the best interest of the City of Okeechobee,

B IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA:
SF CTION 1. That the West 2 of South West 4 of the South East 4 of
Section 15, Township 37 South Range 35 East less the South 256.95 feet
and less the North 50 feet, Original Town of Okeechobee, be and is hereby
rezoned from Agricultural to Residential (R -1), Effective August

SE TION 2. That the application requesting rezoning and proof of
publication to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 271, published in connection
with thl- above application be attached to this Ordinance and become a
part he eof.
SE TION 3. That the City Clerk make the appropriate change on the
City Zc ing Map in accordance with this Ordinance.
