0 DINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 271, BEING AN ORDINANCE
E TABLISHING ZONING REGULATIONS FOR THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE,
FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT
AND AMENDMENT THEREOF, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER
16, FLORIDA STATUTES, 1953.
WHEREAS, application has been made by George Pickering
requesting this Council to rezone from Agricultural to Residential
(R -1)
T e North 132 Feet of the North West 4 of South West y. of
South East 4 of Section 22, Township 37 South, Range 35
E.st, Original Town of Okeechobee, and
EREAS, notice of intention to amend City Zoning Ordinance
No. 271, regarding said application was duly published according
to law, and
WIJEREAS, on the 27th day of September , 1977, a public
hearing was held in the City Council room pursuant to said notice, and
WH1EREAS, it is deemed to the best interest of the City of
Okeecho ee, to grant said application; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the North 132 feet of the North West 4 of South
West 4
East, 0
f South East 4 of Section 22, Township 37 South, Range 35
iginal Town of Okeechobee, be and is hereby rezoned from
Agricultural to Residential (R -1), effective September 27th , 1977.
SECTION 2. That the application requesting rezoning and
proof of publication to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 271 published
in connection with the above application be attached to this
Ordinance and become a part hereof.
SE TION 3. That the City Clerk make the appropriate change on
the Cit Zoning Map in accordance with this Ordinance.
