ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 271, BEING AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING ZONING REGULATIONS FOR THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE,
FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT
AND AMENDMENT THEREOF, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER
176, FLORIDA STATUTES, 1953.
WHEREAS, application has been made by John Roy Ard and Philip
Y. Berger requesting this Council to rezone from the present clas-
sification to Commercial
Lots 11, 12, 13, acid 14, Block 2, Original Town of Okeechobee,
and
WHEREAS, notice of intention to amend City Zoning Ordinance
No. 271, regarding said application was duly published according
to law, and
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of December, 1977, a public hearing
was held in the City Council room pursuant to said notice, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to the best interest of the City of
Okeechobee, to grant said application; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Lots 11, 12, 13, and 14, Block 2, Original
Town of Okeechobee, be and is hereby rezoned from the present clas-
sification to Commercial, effective December 13th, 1977.
SECTION 2. That the application requesting rezoning and proof
of publication to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 271 published in
connection with the above application be attached to this Ordinance
and become a part hereof.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk make the appropriate change on
the City Zoning Map in accordance with this Ordinance.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City
of Okeechobee, Florida, a municipal corporation, will consider
rezoning from the present classification to Commercial and to
amend accordingly the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance #271 adopted
November 21, 1955, the following described real property, situate,
lying and being within the corporate limits of the City of Okeechobee,
Florida, to -wit:
Lots 11, 12, 13, and 14, Block 2, Origin .l Town of Okeechobee.
and that a public hearing in relation thereto will be held at 7:00
P.M., on the 13th day of December, 1977, in the City Council room,
City Hall, Okeechobee, Florida, at which time all parties in interest
and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard.
