The City filed a lien on this property on February 4, 2015 at OR Book 756 Page 182, public records Okeechobee county, which has been accruing a daily fine of $25.00 /day since December 2014. The fines now total $16,725.00. We had an address of 350 Highland Drive, Lewisville, Texas, but have never gotten a response from Nationstar, although the office signed certified mail providing notice of the code board hearing and subsequent actions. Due to that, the City council has directed that I file a foreclosure on the property, which is prepared but not yet filed. We prefer to resolve code cases amicably, and the first step for Nationstar would be to hire lawn maintenance firms to get the property in code compliance, and keep it maintained. Next, you would need to contact Fred Sterling at the City to arrange a request for a representative to appear before the code board and request mitigation of some or all of the accrued fines.
