Councilman Gardner suggested that the City investigate the possibility of a shell pit on City
owned lake front property or behind water plant. The Council agreed to investigate matter.
Councilman Walker moved to deduct $78.15 from H. F. Kinsaul salary check as reimbursement on
the following itemized purc .bases charged to City of Okeechobee, seconded by Councilman Gardner and
unanimously carry:

red with white top, not in accordance with specifications. After discussion and study Councilman Walker
moved to reject b~d and repair Chevrolet Police car, seconded by Councilman Hunt and carried.

Prices on Bitter'Bluc Sod were received as follows: Breland's Landscaping $600.00, Garden Land
Nurseries $600.00 and G. F. Reams $675.00. Due to two bids received in the same amount a secret vote of
the Council was ~aken, afterwhich Councilman Hunt moved to accept Garden Land Nurseries price in the
amount of $600.0~ for Bitter Blue Sod, seconded by Councilman Walker and carried.
Councilman Walker. reported on investigation of water line extension request to Lots 11 and 12,
Block 19, Northw~t A~i~iea property of Bill Tomlinaon and recom~nded that the extension be postponed
at this ti~e due to the number of consumers (approximately 15) already on present water line.
Counci]~eau Wa:ford moved to rescind action to advertize for sale used tractor and front end
loader for further investigation, seconded by Councilman Walker and carried~
