PursUant to notice published in the Okeechobee News regarding closing alleyway
running East ai~d West in Block 184, President Mc Crocklin asked if their were any object-
ion. No objection was heard or filed. Councilman Gardner moved to close, vacate and
discontinue alleyway rur~uing EaSt and West in Block 184, Original Town of Okeechobee,
subject to ag~ement to be prepared by Attorney Hend~y, thereby presenting the following
Ordinance and ~oved its adoption and upon being seconded by Councilman Watford was put
to a vote and ~Ananimously adopted:
ORDINANCE NO. 315
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, DISCONTINUING AND VA CA ~WX~I~
CERTAIN ALLEYWAY RUNNIN~ EAST AND ~EST IN BLOCK 184,
ALL ACCORDIN~ TO ~HE PLAT OF OKEECHOBEE, AS RECORDED
IN PLAT BOOK 2, PAGE 17, PUBLIC'RECORDS OF ST. LUCIE
COUNTY, FLORIDA.
Whereas, an application has been received requesting the City Council
to close, discontinue and vacate that certain alleyway running East and
West in Block 184, all according to the Plat of Okeechobee as recorded
in Plat Book 2, page 17, public records of St. Lucie County, Florida,
and ~HEREAS, Notice of public hearing to consider closing, diso.ontinuing
and vacating the above described alleyway was published in the "Okee-
chobee News#, and WHEREAS, said public hearing was held according the
saicl Notice on the 3rd day of March, 1984, and WHEREAS, there being no
~ closing and it appearing to be to the best interest

~HEREFORE, Be It Ordained By the City Council of the City of 0kee-

· Section 1. That certain alleyway running East and West in Block

page 17, public records of St. Lucie County, Florida, be and it is here-
by closed, discontinued and vacated.
Section 2. That a certified copy of this Ordinance be recorded in
the public records of Okeechobee County, Florida.
