0194 (Amend ord.176 General and Special Elections)Councilman Walker presented the following Ordinance and moved its adoption upon being seconded by Councilman Culbreth and put to a ,vote was unanimously tied and adopted: ORIDANCE NO. 194 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. -176 BEING "AN ORDINANCE ROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTIONS, THE CONDUCTING OF SAME "ATURNS THEREOF, REGISTRATION AND QUALIFICATION OF VOTERS, AND TERM OF OFFICES WED, OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOB:E, FLORIDA". BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKEb:CHOBEE, ORIDA; ON "1. ',. That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 176 of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, `end the same is, hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 5. - Any person is 'a registered and qualified voter under the laws of the State of Florida, and resided within the Corporate limits of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, for six nths imediately prior to said Election and tho, ha,s. otherwise qualified according to IJ and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Okeechobee, Florida, shall have th it to vote in said Elections ". ACTION 2, That all Ordinances or partsf of ordinances in conflict herewith-be, and „same are .hereby repealed. ION 3.
