REVOCATION OF FR RITS Tn -mTLY. PRCDUCERS AND DISTRTORS; THE. FIXING OF
PENALTIES.

SCTION 1. ?ERMITS. It shall be unlawful for anv person to brinF, into
or receive into the City of Okeechobee, Florida, or its police lursidictior
for sale, or sell, or offer for sale therein, or to have in storae where
milk products are sold or served, any milk or milk products as de'2ined in
the latest edition of the United States PublAc Health :ervice iik Code
and the Sanitary ReL;ulations of the Florida 7tatc Deportent nr Agriculture,
Chap. 52, lorida '.;.ta,ts 1941, revised. and amer7edi 1947, sec. 5O2.211
who does not possess a permit from the ,;out y Health Department. All
permits shall expire on Deceinber 51 of each yet.r. IDe application for a
ermit shall show:
A. The harle, residence, post office address and
location of tho dairy fa..r. or business place,
the number of COTS fro which milk is otain-
ed for sale.
B. If the applicant buys oart or all of his milk
supply, state the amount, the name and address

SECTION 2. A1PLIC,ATI:N FOR 7=1TS. All aoplicatons for perylts shall
be signed by the applicant and when received b th Health. Officer shall
be placed on file. As soon as possible after an application has been
received, the Health Officer or his authorized agent shall visit the
dairy or place of business of such applicant and make such observatins
and inspections as will enable him. to properly consider such application;

Srdinence have been complied with, he shall issue such Permit.
When a
pennit is granted, the health Off_Lcer will cive the holder thereof an

violated, he shall at once revoke such permits, and no new permit will
thereafter be issued until all insanitary conditions have been pectified,
and all other provisions of this Ordinance are complied with. if anyone

(b) A dairy or dairy farm is any place or premises where one or

SECT1T)N 6. Within six (6) months from date on vich. this Ordinance takes

the city limits of Okeechobee, Florida or its police .lurisdiction except
that of grade A pasteurized and or ,7rade A raw quality, as defined in the
Sanitary Regulations of the Florida :tate Department of Agriculture, Eec.
502-21, revised 1948; provided, however, that no milk or products may U
sold to the final consumer as sc..h at any time unless itens 1r, 10r, 11r,
17:r, and 25r of the Sanitary Regulations of the Florida State Depart-if,ent
of Agricultre, sec. 502.21 are complied. with; provided further that when
any milk distributor fails to qualify for the above trade the health_ officer
is authorized to revoke his ero. t, 7T)r in lieu thE2:ref to dep;rade
product and permit its sale during a. temporary period not exceeding 30
days ior in emergencies such longer period. as he may deem necessary.
SFOr2i0N 7. DEFINITIO OF
The terlf- Health Officer as used
in this Ordinance shall se defined as the duly. appointed Director of Lie
Okeechobee County 1-ealth 7:iepartment.

or any police officer, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor whether the permit
of such a person has been. revoked or not, aol upon coviction, be
fired not more than two hundred (20C .00) or imorisonrr:ent at har=d labor
for not more than thirty (30) days, or both such fine aol imwisonment.
